An incredible place - the best cheese scones since cheese scones were invented, and a host of other tasty things to have with a good coffee! Customer service goes beyond great... if you sit outside in the cold there are infra red heaters, hot water bottles and blankets to keep you toasty. Inside is great too. Even the toilet has piped tropical birdsong and a nice aroma. How’s that for attention to detail? I enjoyed a long and enthusiastic conversation with the chef/owner about his exciting plans to trial Sunday roasts. A richly deserving recipient of my “Go there at once” award :-)

First visit today and this is now our favourite in Romsey! Great staff and amazing Gluten Free options, don't be put off that they don't list them on their menu. Food was lovely and will 100% be going back to this little gem.

First visit but it won’t be the last! Owners are a joy, the staff are friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Relaxed atmosphere perfect to enjoy a meal and a drink. Lovely decor too - we might steal some ideas.

2022 Went for a lunch today. A lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We had the mac and cheese and the soup and scone. Both absolutely delicious! Came back May 2023 for a delightful lunch. Sat in the sunshine and had a fabulous Caesar salad with trout. So much cheese and fish it was an amazing combination. Wife had a delicious cheese scone and salad. Great service too and very friendly and attentive. Keep up the good work!

First time visiting today after walking past many times and seeing it busy. Very glad we did. The food was amazing, and the service was second to none. If you walk past and notice that it’s very busy from the outside, then it’s always worth popping inside to see if there are any tables available. Great brunch spot, and great vibes

What a hidden gem! I don’t often leave reviews, but this place truly deserves recognition. We visited Romsey for the first time yesterday and, by chance, stumbled upon the Cork & Bean. We stopped for a drink, and the attention to detail and wine knowledge was outstanding. It impressed us so much that we decided to return for dinner—and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We opted for the cheese and charcuterie sharing board for two, and it was absolutely delicious—truly a standout experience. It’s a real shame we live an hour away because this place has quickly become my new favourite venue. Whether you’re after coffee and cake, wine, or pizza, the atmosphere and overall vibe had us buzzing with excitement. We’ll definitely be back, most likely with the kids in tow next time, but the passion and love behind this little haven really stood out. Well done to everyone at Cork & Bean, and thank you for making our child-free night away so memorable!

STUNNING!!!!! We had my drama school graduation party there last weekend (afternoon tea) & the venue, the food, the drinks, the owners (David & Simon), the staff, the service, the atmosphere, the energy, the organisation were ALL 5 STARS!!! We are hospitality people ourselves (all have extensive past careers in the sector) and so know the importance of all of the above & we’re not disappointed! THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone at The Cork & Bean! We will be back very soon - Rebecca, Ali & Keith

The owners were so lovely and entertaining and their team are all warm and friendly. I think the hands on approach by the owners maintains a consistent high standard of service. It's their baby and they are rightly proud of it. The food is excellent ( for vegans and vegetarians too.) It's a buzzing atmosphere- not a "quiet coffee" kind of place. I recommend booking because everyone is discovering this place now and it's generally busy. The coffee is also excellent too. They allow well behaved dogs and even have a dedicated menu of dog treats. The outside areas are well sheltered with heating so lovely all year round. Pricing is really sensible for good quality food and drinks.
